Information we use
Lobatse Pharmacy uses account details, names, email addresses, phone numbers and delivery addresses to manage accounts, fulfil orders and communicate with customers. Order records include items, prices, delivery details, payment status and transaction references. We also record policy acceptance against new checkout orders.
Prescription submissions include uploaded prescriptions and medical-aid cards. The separate self-medication service collects a medical-aid card and records pharmacy review and shopping-limit usage. These documents may contain health and membership information. Please submit only the information needed for your request.
How information is used and accessed
Information supports pharmacy review, medical-aid verification, stock and order management, delivery, payment reconciliation, cancellation and refund handling. Account ownership checks and staff roles restrict access to customer records and private documents. Authorized staff access information needed for their work. These controls do not amount to a guarantee of security.
Storage and service providers
Our production website uses Amazon Web Services (AWS): EC2 hosts the application, RDS PostgreSQL stores account and order records, and S3 stores product images and private uploaded documents. CloudFront delivers product images to visitors. Prescription and medical-aid documents are private and are not served as public product images.
DPO Pay has not been activated for this website. DPO online payments and automatic DPO refunds are not currently offered. We retain order and payment-status information needed to administer available payment methods and respond to payment queries.
Cookies and session features
The site uses an authentication cookie for sign-in, session features for shopping and the selected self-medication request, and request-verification cookies to protect form submissions. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, basket or checkout features from working.
Questions, corrections and privacy requests
Use the telephone or email on our Contact page to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information. The pharmacy may need to verify your identity and assess which records must be retained. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period or immediate deletion of records needed for ongoing pharmacy operations.
